Mindbender Mansion @ the National Children’s Museum


The National Children’s Museum sparks curiosity and creativity in the littlest of learners! This playful indoor family destination boasts a wide variety of touch-and-play activities, exhibits, and experiences centered around STEAM — science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Mindbender Mansion
Young learners of all ages will love Mindbender Mansion, the National Children’s Museum’s latest STEM-powered exhibit! From solving puzzles and deciphering codes to interactive challenges, there’s plenty to keep kids engaged and excited! Kids will find 11 individual brain teasers and three group activities that lead them through each themed room of the mansion. Each challenge promotes problem-solving, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills.

Mindbender Mansion! is included in the cost of admission.


Wondering what’s coming in the future? This fall, you’ll find Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and then in the spring of 2025, enjoy Animationland!

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: A Grr-ific Exhibit
Join Daniel Tiger and his friends as you explore the Neighborhood. Through immersive experiences, kids will be encouraged to work together to solve problems, use their imaginations to transform their surroundings, and play along with Daniel’s singable strategies to learn life’s little lessons!

Spring 2025
Animationland
Join Tracey, a pencil dog, and her crew—Rooth, Drop, Inky, Uno, and Kari—on an immersive journey to create stories using science and imagination. Kids will channel their creativity and develop animated masterpieces using animation basics like storyboarding, sketching, stop-motion moviemaking, and more!
