Fields of Flowers

In the heart of Loudoun County is Fields of Flowers, a family opportunity to cut-your-own flowers. Open from about mid-May until the first frost, guests are invited to wander their acres of flowers gardens and cut at their leisure. Fields of Flowers provides the buckets, scissors, and a workstation to clean your bouquet at the end. This is a guest-driven experience, there is no staff — just a beautiful home with a well-equipped workstation, and rows upon rows of beautiful blooms.

It is always wise to call ahead to see what is in season and the quality/quantity of the fields: (540) 338-7231. Please note, they accept cash and check only, and no change is available.

If you have an allergy to bees or insects, be prepared. As this is a natural garden, here are a lot of pollinators flying around. Not a single biting insect bothered me — they were all too interested in the flowers. There was insect repellant at the workstation, but I would advise you to bring your own in case.

Fields of Flowers is located at 37879 Allder School Rd., Purcellville, VA 20132, about 25-miles from Dulles International Airport.
