Have you heard the buzz? The Bee Festival is coming to Manassas on June 21, 2025!
As the first city to receive the designation as a Bee City USA in Northern Virginia, they’re excited to welcome you to an afternoon of fun. Buzz on by dressed like a pollinator and join the Pollinator Costume Parade, learn the waggle dance, test your skill at the spelling bee, enjoy high-energy children’s fun, and much more.
Plus, as you celebrate pollinators, see a community apiary of honey bee hives and native bee houses, meet farm animals, listen to live music, visit the Mead Garden, and more!
Kick off the day with a 2K Honey Hike, which starts at 9:15 am on the Manassas Museum Lawn and hikes to the event at Liberia House.
A tractor shuttle will provide free rides from the Manassas Parking Garage to the festival and return rides to Historic Downtown Manassas.
