Big Holiday Guide › Boat Parade of Lights
It’s time to deck the hulls and light up the night at Alexandria’s Holiday Boat Parade of Lights! On December 6, 2025, you’re invited to watch festive and brightly lit boats as they cruise along one mile of the Potomac River shoreline.
Be sure to come early to not only secure the best viewing spot, but to enjoy festivities at Waterfront Park. There will be plenty to eat and drink, including a pop-up beer garden, as well as family-friendly activities and holiday music.
This Holiday Boat Parade of Lights is free to attend and is held rain or shine.
