The Chesapeake Bay Balloon Festival is excited to welcome you to its annual family-friendly festival from August 4-6, 2023! Hosted this year at Cedar Lane Park, this three-day special event features twenty-one colorful and whimsical hot air balloons.
You’ll have the opportunity to watch as balloons drift overhead, as well as evening glows — balloons lit up against the dark nighttime sky! Arrange for a private ride in one (reservation required), or enjoy a tethered balloon Ride during the festival (first come, first served; weather permitting).
There are activities for the whole family to enjoy, including live bands and a Kids’ Village with face painting, games, bouncy houses, and more. Food trucks will be ready to fill your bellies, and adults can enjoy beer and wine. Plus, don’t miss shopping from local crafters, artisans, and vendors showcasing local talent and businesses.
