Families are invited to celebrate Halloween at Clemyjontri Park — one of NOVA’s most popular!
On October 18, 2026, this beloved playground transforms into a sensory-friendly Halloween destination filled with themed fun for kids of all abilities (plus their siblings and supportive friends, too!).
At this special event, enjoy accessible rides on the park’s carousel and train, trick-or-treat at themed stations, and get creative with arts & crafts! This calm, inclusive celebration features reduced noise and sensory support to ensure every child can enjoy the fun comfortably. Costumes are encouraged, but never required.
Clemyjontri Park is a Northern Virginia favorite! This 2+ acre, all-inclusive, adaptive playground boasts six elevated climb-on structures, plus a wide variety of ground-level climb-on features — both static and dynamic — for kids of all abilities. There are also plenty of open space areas to run, as well as swings and even a maze to explore!
The rubber ground surface is stroller- and wagon-friendly, and plenty of shaded areas offer a place to sit during warmer months. You’ll also find picnic tables, vending machines (drinks, cash/credit), and on-site bathrooms.
Making the day extra special, Clemyjontri’s fully accessible carousel — recessed to ground level for wheelchair access — lets kids who use wheelchairs, walkers, or braces ride alongside everyone else, with chariots, a spinning teacup, and 14 prancing steeds. Meanwhile, Clemy’s trackless train loops the park with views of the natural surroundings and the colorful playground.
Tickets are fee-based per trick-or-treater; advanced registration required.
