Are you charismatic? Intelligent? Confident? If so, this might just be your year as, according to Chinese astrology, 2024 is the year of the Dragon!
🐉 Celebrate the Year of the Dragon: Lunar New Year Festivals & Events
Celebrate at the annual Chinese Lunar New Year Parade, which takes place along seven blocks throughout DC’s Chinatown. Held on February 11, 2024, the parade showcases cultural and community performers, traditional Chinese dragons and lions, and even hosts a firecracker finale in the middle of H Street!
Spend the day downtown and plan to grab a bite at one of Chinatown’s amazing eateries before setting up for the parade. Hosted and organized by the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of Washington, DC (CCBA) and the DC Mayor’s Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA), this parade is not to be missed!
Free and fun to attend, guests are advised to take the METRO to Gallery Place Chinatown.
