Children will learn the basics of keeping pets safe and healthy during everyday emergencies. Through interactive activities, kids will explore simple, age-appropriate first aid concepts, injury prevention, and how to recognize when an adult or veterinarian is needed.

Children will learn about small companion animals such as guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. Kids will explore what these animals need to stay healthy, happy, and safe—and why proper care is essential before bringing a small animal into your home.

Children will learn how to create fun, safe enrichment toys for pets using everyday materials. Along the way, they’ll discover why mental and physical enrichment is important for animal health and happiness.
