Family Day: Tu B’shevat @ Capital Jewish Museum
The Capital Jewish Museum is throwing a birthday party for the trees! Tree-lovers of all ages and from all backgrounds are welcome to learn, connect, and create while celebrating all the wonderful gifts of the trees at the museum’s Tu B’shevat Family Day on February 1, 2026.
Here’s what to expect:
• Decorate a pot and plant seeds of parsley and new trees
• Dance and sing along with the Washington Revels
• Create and enjoy a Tu B’shevat seder-inspired DIY trail mix snack
• Contribute to a “Thank You, Trees,” Community Art Build
• Find stories of conservation and community with a themed exhibition scavenger hunt
