In 1996, five friends chasing Virginia folklore vanished, leaving behind an abandoned car and a smashed camcorder. Thirty years later, the restored footage is ready to be seen on this all-new trail at the Workhouse Arts Center. Tickets are sold by timed entry to reduce wait times, and the free Grooveyard party — music, karaoke, vendors, and food trucks — is open to all, even without a trail ticket. New this year: an after-dark flashlight tour of the Cell Block, plus a sensory-friendly hour on October 17, 2026.

On Saturday and Sunday afternoons in October, the haunted house runs a less intense version with fewer actors and a lower price for younger visitors.
