Head into the summer feeling inspired! Celebrate the ingenuity of DC students who designed STEAM-powered solutions to challenges facing their communities.

Students from around DC have been participating in a nine-month program, creating and innovating STEAM-powered solutions to challenges in their communities. Join them in celebrating their ingenuity on the Coulter Plaza of the National Museum of American History on June 6, 2026.

Students will be showcasing their findings at the DC STEAM Expo, presented in collaboration with the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage.

This event is free and open to the public.
