Created as a child’s first theater experience, Flutter is an interactive play that introduces babies and toddlers to the four seasons with engaging visuals, soft sounds, and hands-on textures.

With soothing original music, this show establishes a nurturing, welcoming space through engaging visuals, soft sounds, hands-on textures, and an open concept of play.

Three performers charmingly bring the seasons to life with glowing fireflies, dancing butterflies, and more. Babies and toddlers will have the freedom to crawl, walk, and move within the space. Experience Flutter with your little one on November 7-9, 2025, at The Kennedy Center.

All performances are sensory-friendly! Sensory-friendly performances are designed to create a performing arts experience that is welcoming to all families, including those with children with autism or other sensory sensitivities.
