Celebrate Independence Day early! Join the Fairfax County Park Authority at Lake Fairfax Park for an afternoon of food trucks, picnicking, waterpark play, and a stunning fireworks display on June 28, 2025.

Ticketed entry begins at noon, and the fireworks are expected to start shortly after 9 pm. Tickets are per vehicle, $20 online ($25/vehicle at the gate); link below.

The Water Mine Family Swimmin’ Hole Waterpark will be open from 11 am-6 pm (purchase tickets in advance here); guests are encouraged to come early as the facility reaches capacity quickly.

All picnic areas will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
