For three days this December, visit Mount Vernon for a family-friendly holiday celebration: Christmas Illuminations!
From December 20-21, 2025, celebrate the holiday season with an enchanted evening of Christmas Illuminations — see the mansion and historic spaces throughout the estate aglow in beautiful light, and hear a special holiday greeting from General Washington on the east lawn.
There will also be mansion tours, a Winter Encampment and Artisan Market to explore, an opportunity to meet Aladdin the Camel, and stunning fireworks over the Potomac River at night!
