At these fun and interactive activity stations, children learn through play :

Pinwheel Breathing: Guests can get creative and develop the skill of self-regulation all in one fun activity. After creating their own unique pinwheel, they can practice a simple, tactile deep-breathing exercise that uses the pinwheel to help visually pace inhales and exhales.

Shape Builders: Little mathematicians can work out their geometry muscles, taking on the challenge of combining smaller shapes to create larger ones. This activity exercises spatial reasoning and shape recognition through play!

Back-to-School Storytime: While enjoying a special back-to-school-themed storybook, little readers break down the beginning, middle, and end of the story and strengthen comprehension. Through discussion and hands-on activities, learners will practice sequencing events and understanding how stories are structured.

Microscopic Observation: Let’s explore the world around us! Little scientists can use microscopes to observe everyday objects, discovering patterns, shapes, and textures through investigation.

Get Ready Relay: Little learners can strengthen their motor skills and confidence as they practice skills that help them get ready for school. Tie shoes, put on coats, fasten snaps, and more!

Back-to-School pop-up activities are included in general museum admission.
