Sensory-Friendly Mornings @ Port Discovery
Port Discovery Children’s Museum strives to be an inclusive and accessible space that celebrates neurodiversity and welcomes people of all needs and abilities.
The museum currently offers monthly Sensory-Friendly Sundays on the 3rd Sunday of each month, open to all guests and members.

Port Discovery’s Sensory-Friendly Mornings provide museum access to families who would benefit from a sensory-friendly experience and quieter setting. These mornings are designed to provide you with an opportunity to enjoy the Port Discovery experience in a sensory-modified setting, including:
• Limited attendance
• Port Discovery staff to assist with providing a supportive environment
• Sound and light reduction
• Sensory Kits
• Dedicated Quiet Zone Area
• Special activities
