Hike through the woods to Snakeden Branch Stream and Lake Audubon and learn why these aquatic habitats are important, what animals live there, and how we can keep them healthy.

Drop off your kids at the Walker Nature Center for a hands-on, fun learning experience on September 21, 2026. Children will dip a net in the lake and try to scoop up a minnow, tadpole, or dragonfly larva. Plus, they’ll complete a scavenger hunt along the way and paint with watercolors.
