First Night Alexandria

<< More New Year’s Eve Fun for Families

This all-day and almost all-night New Year’s Eve event on December 31, 2019, features more than 100 performing artists as Alexandria’s stores, hotels, museums, and public buildings are turned into performance venues for kids, families, and adults. Plenty of family-friendly fun can be found throughout the area, with kid-friendly events at the Torpedo Factory, Hooray for Books!, and many of the Recreation Centers!

The event is free for children 12 and under, as well as the military. Enjoy all-access badges that provide admission to all venues and performances throughout the day. You won’t want to miss Teen’s Got Talent, the Comedy Showcase, or the Earth Wind and Fire Tribute Band!
