Known as First Night Alexandria, this highly anticipated end-of-year party on December 31, 2023, features live entertainment as public buildings, churches, stores, and hotels are turned into performance venues! Each destination is within a 1-mile walk throughout Old Town.

First Night festivities are truly for everyone, with a matinee kick-off at 2 pm and an exciting twilight fireworks show at 6 pm. For those who want to keep the night going, First Night Alexandria keeps going until midnight with Prime Time performances and yet another fireworks show!
