Start an annual family tradition at Herndon’s Fishing Derby on March 16, 2024! Hosted at a stream along Sugarland Run Trail in Runnymede Park, kids ages 2-15 and their families are invited to bring a pole (or borrow one — a limited number are available for use) and enjoy a morning of fishing!
Trout Unlimited will be onsite to help clean and store your catch, while volunteers will be on hand to teach you how to bait, cast, hook, and cook your freshly caught dinner!
