You’re invited to experience the oldest and largest parade celebrating George Washington’s birth in the USA!
On February 21, 2022, in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, enjoy a one-mile parade, part of an annual celebration organized since 1976. You’ll see fraternal organizations, drum corps, color guards, bands, city dignitaries, and the event’s namesake, General Washington and Martha Washington!
Plus, in honor of the selfless dedication and hard work of Alexandria’s health care workers and first responders, they’ll be this year’s grand marshals!
