One of Loudoun County’s signature festivals returns September 26, 2026, with tons of German-inspired fun!

Lovettsville Oktoberfest is filled with live entertainment and delicious food, plus the chance to discover local artisans and vendors. When the beer master shouts “O zapft’s!” and taps that first keg, this little Virginia town transforms into a slice of Munich!

Here’s what’s on tap this year:

German-Style Food
Local civic organizations and businesses will be dishing up plenty of delicious German-style food all day.
All-Day German Competitions
Traditional contests will be running all day, including Stein Hauling and Hoisting and the famous Wiener Dog Races!
Kinderfest
This all-day festival is family-friendly — kids will find plenty of fun and activities, too!
Craft Vendors & Local Businesses
More than 50 local artisans and vendors will be bringing handmade crafts, gifts, and specialty goods.
Young Entrepreneur Vendor Area
Young business owners will have their own vendor area to show off and sell what they make.
Live Music & Entertainment
German bands, local musicians, and entertainers will keep the music going all day long.
