VISITING EXHIBIT
Mindbender Mansion

Young learners of all ages will love Mindbender Mansion, the National Children’s Museum’s last STEM-powered exhibit! From solving puzzles and deciphering codes to interactive challenges, there’s plenty to keep kids engaged and excited!
Kids will find 11 individual brain teasers, plus three group activities that will lead them through each themed room of the mansion. Each challenge promotes problem-solving, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills.
PERMANENT EXHIBITS
Art + Tech
Families can get creative with Nickelodeon favorites like SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol. Virtual slime ensures all the fun, minus the mess!
Data Science Alley
Through interactive gateways and playful exploration of statistics in their daily lives, little learners can discover how data is collected and aggregated.
Dream Machine
Children ages five and up can explore a three-story climber and slide, sparking imagination and discovery. The area is wheelchair accessible at multiple points.
Engineering Games + Play
Kids can design and test vehicles on the “On the Go-Go” track, exploring material science and natural phenomena with local sports team themes.
Innovation Sandbox
Families can experience Weather Worlds, an immersive digital adventure by Design I/O. They can unleash lightning bolts, create clouds, and more, becoming climate action heroes.
Little Dreamers
This area near the Dream Machine encourages movement and connection with cloud and flight themes, catering to infants and toddlers.
Little Movers
A space for infants and toddlers to develop motor skills through free movement.
Tinkerers Studio
This dedicated space is perfect for hosting school trips, family workshops, and birthdays in this modern learning lab.
