The crowds are gone, and the doors have closed — one of the world’s most popular museums is your kid’s playground. Adventurers ages 8-14 are invited to spend the night at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History.
On October 24, 2025, they’ll stroll beneath towering dinosaurs in the Fossil Hall, uncover the secrets of Earth’s ancient past, and explore the ocean’s underwater treasures. They can try their hands at games and challenges, create their own crafts, and even learn to eat like a T. rex while playing The Game of Survival.
