Frying Pan Farm Park (FPFP) is part of a historical community dating back to the early 1700s. Located in the Floris community of Herndon, VA, the area was known as Frying Pan from 1726 to 1892.
This working farm shows mid-century farm life, from the 1920s to the 1950s, when farming technology became available, including the tractor, dairy milking machines, mechanical bailers, and more. Today, families are invited to enjoy an afternoon filled with farm fun. Visit the animals and farming exhibits, and be sure to bring a picnic and enjoy the playground, carousel (seasonal), tractor rides (seasonal), and nature trails. FPFP also boasts an Equestrian Center, walking trails, a general store, and classes, camps, and opportunities open to the community.
Admission to the farm and parking is free, with the exception of special seasonal events and festivals, like Spring Farm Day.
