On September 9, 2023, Chinquapin Park will be filled with tons of fun!
At the City’s annual Tons of Truck event, kids are invited to touch, explore, and climb aboard trucks and more! They’ll even get to meet the people who protect, build, and serve the City of Alexandria.
Truck-themed activities include an art project with the City’s Mobile Art Lab, photo opportunities, giveaways, and food truck vendors.
There are plenty of places to park, however, come by DASH Bus or use the Capital Bikeshare will have the opportunity to win door prizes!
This event is rain or shine; admission is just $5, with the option to pre-purchase your tickets or pay at the event.
