Dear Moss Building & Design,

Once the holidays are over, I’d like to think about updates to my home. What design trends do you see coming for 2020?

— Dulles Mom

Dear Dulles Mom,

Great question! We’re always looking ahead to stay on top of trends (but also bearing in mind classic design styles, as well).

We think this article from Southern Living really outlines the trends that we’ve been seeing getting more popular over the past few years. Most especially, we love the combination of two different colors for kitchen cabinets, the use of floating vanities in bathrooms, having the bathroom be a spa-like experience, and much more.

Do you keep up with our blog? We are always posting about new trends, tips, techniques, and our favorite before-and-after projects that we’ve completed. Check it out here.

Happy New Year!
