The Loudoun School of Ballet has been fostering a tradition of excellence in dance education since 1977! Having trained more than 20,000 dancers, they’re a home away from home for dancers young and older who enjoy the athleticism, camaraderie, artistry, and discipline of dancing and those with a passion that leads them to a professional career in ballet or contemporary dance.

The Loudoun School of Ballet offers opportunities in all dance genres, including classical ballet, pointe, contemporary ballet, jazz, commercial jazz, contemporary, modern, tap, Broadway, lyrical, hip-hop, and musical theatre.

RISING STARS CAMPS

Rising Stars are the Loudoun School of Ballet’s youngest dancers! Little ones, ages 4-8, will enjoy a week of fun, including learning new skills, meeting new friends, and participating in themed crafts, dance games, and choreography. Plus, each week concludes with a performance showcase for family and friends:

RISING STARS CLASSES

Young dancers are invited to enjoy summer classes, too! From ballet and tap to jazz and hip-hop, there’s a class for all interests:

JAZZ INTENSIVES

Intense jazz programs offer programs taught by Loudoun School of Ballet teachers and guest artists. Dancers are invited to grow their skills in jazz, modern, Broadway jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, contemporary partnering, lyrical, choreography, jazz-funk, and more:

CONTEMPORARY CLASSES

Less rigid than traditional dance, contemporary dance classes combine elements from other dance genres, such as ballet, modern, and jazz. Kids and teens, ages seven and up, are invited to explore Loudoun School of Ballet’s summer contemporary classes:

BALLET INTENSIVES

Intermediate and advanced ballet dancers are invited to join the Loudoun School of Ballet for their well-balanced summer intensives. They include ballet technique, pointe, variations, modern, yoga, contemporary ballet, character, core/footwork, and more:

BALLET CLASSES

Ballet doesn’t end just because it’s summer! Dancers, ages six and up, are invited to register for the Loudoun School of Ballet summer ballet classes:
