Their summer programs offer opportunities for participants to explore nature, discover new talents, engage in various activities, play games, and build lasting friendships. With a focus on physical, emotional, and social growth, Reston Camps emphasizes respect for oneself and others!

2026 camps include:

Nature Tots Camp
Walker Nature Center ∙ Ages 3-5
Discover nature through hands-on activities and exploratory walks. Campers will enjoy playtime, story time and song in our 72-acre forested park. Activities develop social and physical skills while children learn about the natural world around them.

Walker’s Rangers Camp
Walker Nature Center ∙ Ages 6-9
Walker’s Rangers provides a fun, educational experience for kids based at the Walker Nature Center. Campers explore forest, stream, pond, and lake habitats while learning about wildlife, playing nature games, conducting science experiments, and enjoying arts and crafts.

Young Naturalists Camp
Walker Nature Center ∙ Ages 10-12
This nature-focused camp gives kids the opportunity to explore the outdoors through field studies, extended hikes, and hands-on science experiences at Walker Nature Center. Campers practice environmental stewardship, participate in citizen science, and reflect on nature through journaling and mindfulness activities.

Junior Lifeguarding Camp
Golf Course Island Rec Area ∙ Ages 11-14
Spend mornings training to be a future lifeguard while learning responsibilities, improving swimming skills, and practicing beginner rescues. Afternoons include traditional camp fun like group games and free swim time.

This is a great choice for first-time campers, offering a fun mix of swimming, arts and crafts, games, sports, and nature walks in a safe and supportive environment.

As one of the most popular programs, this camp offers a full camp experience with swimming, games, arts and crafts, science activities, and nature exploration. Campers build teamwork, responsibility, and confidence while enjoying a variety of classic camp fun.

Counselor-in-Training Camp
Brown’s Chapel Rec Area ∙ Ages 14-16
This leadership-focused camp gives teens the opportunity to build confidence, communication skills, and responsibility while gaining hands-on experience working alongside camp staff. Through outdoor activities and mentorship, participants develop leadership skills and prepare for future roles as camp counselors.

This high-energy camp is packed with sports and nonstop fun, including basketball, soccer, kickball, dodgeball, hockey, and more. Campers also learn about nutrition and stretching while building teamwork and sportsmanship through coached activities. The fun continues with swimming and classic camp games at Lake Anne Park.

Camp on Wheels
Lake Newport Soccer ∙ Ages 6-12
Designed for skaters of all levels, this camp helps kids learn new tricks, build confidence, and improve their skateboarding skills. Campers visit local skate parks and cool off at RA pools in the afternoons, making it a fun mix of action and summer adventure.

IncrediFlix Camp
Glade Rec Area ∙ Ages 7-13
This creative camp introduces kids to the world of filmmaking through hands-on projects in stop-motion and live-action. Campers bring their ideas to life by creating stories, filming scenes, and exploring animation techniques, all while building confidence and creativity in a fun, collaborative setting. Led in partnership with IncrediFlix.

Art Camp
Glade Rec Area ∙ Ages 6-12
This creative camp is filled with hands-on art projects, from painting and sculpture to tie-dye and murals. Campers explore different techniques, express their creativity, and build confidence while creating unique works of art throughout the week.
