In early 2021, during the height of COVID-19, Nupur Panjabi realized the pandemic had significantly changed the food landscape in Northern Virginia and saw a marked increase in food insecurities. It was her dream to make freshly prepared food accessible to anyone who simply desired it. To help close the gaps of food insecurities, she founded Anna Sudha Community Kitchens to provide nutritious meals and food to all (Anna means “food,” and Sudha means “nectar of love”).
This unique non-profit meal service, found at Dulles Town Center, is a place where the community comes together through food! Anna Sudha Community Kitchens (ASCK) specializes in freshly made Indian cuisine, giving those in need a home-cooked meal experience. Kitchens are open daily for both walk-ins and preorders.
ASCK is also a great place to take a cooking class, host a birthday party/fundraiser, or cater an event. Additionally, this community destination offers volunteering opportunities for teens (14+) and adults.
Spread love through food and see all that Anna Sudha Community Kitchens has to offer!
