Big Holiday Guide › Christmas Town
Busch Gardens transforms into a festive wonderland each winter, welcoming families for its annual Christmas Town celebration on select dates from November 14-January 4, 2026. More than ten million twinkling lights illuminate the park — one of North America’s largest holiday light displays — setting the perfect scene for memory-making with loved ones.
Guests are invited to enjoy a full lineup of seasonal entertainment, beginning with Polar Pathway: Spectacle of Lights, a glowing walkway illuminated by over a million LED lights, choreographed to music. At the Royal Palace Theatre, ‘Twas That Night brings the classic poem to the ice with a dazzling skating performance. New this year, Christmas Town Live! A Holiday Special lights up Das Festhaus with 1960s-style holiday flair, classic carols, and nostalgic medleys.
Families will find plenty of classic Christmas Town favorites, too — from Santa’s Workshop and the Christmas Town Express to festive photo opportunities sprinkled throughout the park. With more than 25 rides and coasters open, visitors can even soar above the lights on the all-new Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge, making its Christmas Town debut. A ride aboard the Christmas Town Express offers a musical, light-filled journey around the park.
Little ones can dive into the holiday spirit at Christmas at Sesame Street Forest of Fun, complete with seasonal shows, fun-sized rides just for them, and cheerful meet-and-greets. They’ll also love live experiences like Elmo’s Christmas Wish and the interactive Merry Monster Game Show. Additional photo moments — including the Clydesdales at Highland Stables and visits with Frosty the Snowman & Gingy the Gingerbread Man — add even more charm to the day.
Christmas Town is a separately ticketed event. Admission is included with active Busch Gardens Williamsburg Basic, Unlimited, Premier, and Platinum Memberships, as well as the College Pass and the 2025/2026 Military Pass. Individual event tickets are also available.
