‘Tis the season for a little holiday magic! Cirque du Soleil is bringing its first-ever Christmas show to Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre from December 17-27, 2026 — and it was created especially for families!
‘Twas the Night Before reimagines the beloved poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” by Clement Clarke Moore. Young Isabella and her father read it together every year, but this year she feels she’s outgrown the tradition — until the poem springs to life and a snowstorm sweeps them apart on a fantastical journey through a winter wonderland.
Along the way, whimsical characters, acrobats, children, and reindeer help reunite father and daughter in the holiday spirit. Expect thrilling acrobatics, including hoop diving and roller skating, plus a soundtrack of holiday classics reinvented in true Cirque du Soleil style.
Ages 5 to 95, this heartwarming show is a can’t-miss for kids and kids-at-heart! Running about 85 minutes, it’s a great fit for little ones, too. Plus, holiday performances often sell out, so we recommend buying tickets in advance.
