Directed by Michael Page and with music direction by Carol Jean Clark, with choreography by Hester Kamin. Alexandria Children’s Theatre is so excited that you’d like to come on this journey to Oz with them!

Actors ages 8-16 are invited to audition on March 21 & 22, 2026 (Callbacks as needed on Monday, March 23, 2026), at the Burgundy Farm Country Day School (3700 Burgundy Rd., Alexandria, VA 22303).

You need to sign up for ONE audition slot. Each audition slot is an hour in length. The link to the auditions, as well as all the other required forms, is at the end of this page.

Actors can bring a current photograph (school pictures are fine) and a signed Parent Acknowledgement and Conflict form. No photo? No problem. They will take a photo of your child.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your audition time to check in. After your audition, you are free to leave. Auditions are closed; parents and/or peers will not be permitted to watch.

The Wizard of Oz will be performed at the Carl Sandburg Middle School on June 5-7 & 12-13, 2026.
