The Velveteen Rabbit: A Real New Musical @ A Place To Be
In a world that often values image over authenticity, A Place To Be is celebrating what it means to be real, bringing the children’s classic The Velveteen Rabbit to life with performances featuring A Place To Be clients.
The disability-inclusive show’s central message reflects A Place To Be’s own purpose: to create a community where everyone is seen, accepted, and loved as their authentic selves.
Performance schedule:
• March 20, 2026 @ 7 pm
• March 21, 2026 @ 2 pm* and 7 pm
• March 22, 2026 @ 2 pm
* Sensory-friendly show; ASL Interpreter available upon request.
Recommended for ages 6 years and up.
The Velveteen Rabbit will be presented in A Place To Be’s Mars-Schmidt theater in the Village at Leesburg (1600 Village Market Blvd., Suite 108, Leesburg, VA 20175).
