Join Birch Tree Books & Plants for a ribbon-cutting with the mayor and the Town of Leesburg to celebrate the Grand Opening of its new location. More than a celebration of this new space, the event will feature family Halloween fun with a Costume Party on October 30, 2026!

Costumes are highly encouraged; wear a costume that either matches a book cover or dress as a character from a book. There will be a costume contest; the winner will receive a basket of goodies!

There will also be a scavenger hunt, hot apple cider, candy, and a mini terrarium bar (fee-based).

The ribbon-cutting takes place at 5 pm, but come any time to celebrate the new space.
