Family Day: 250 Years of American Fashion @ Library of Congress

As part of the Library’s America 250 commemoration, the program Fashion at the Library of Congress: The Threads That Connect Us explores the American story through fashion and style.
Families can draw inspiration from collections and displays of the Library’s fashion holdings and create their own designs. Library experts from the American Folklife Center, Prints and Photographs Division, and Science and Business Reading Room will share insights into the icons, expression, tradition, and industry of American fashion.
The Library of Congress is hosting a Family Day on the mezzanine level of the Jefferson Building on June 13, 2026.
The event is free, but tickets are required (link below) for the Jefferson Building.
