The Year of the Dragon is considered one of the most auspicious and significant years in the Chinese zodiac, symbolizing strength, courage, and good fortune. To mark this special occasion, The Alden has partnered with the renowned Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company to create a Lunar New Year Festival for families that culminates in a main-stage Dragon Festival performance on February 4, 2023.

Lunar New Year Festival, from noon to 4 pm, features local musicians, dancers, artisans, and food traditional to the Chinese Lunar New Year.

Following the festival, at 4 pm, enjoy an exciting all-ages performance featuring the new 2024 Dragon Festival, featuring dance, a live musical performance on traditional Chinese instruments, and lauded company repertoire.
