On June 14, 2025, see this big outdoor aviation display at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center (part of the National Air & Space Museum) and talk with pilots of historic and modern aircraft on display. Inside the museum, check out unique activities for families, meet innovators in flight, and more.
Innovations in Flight is one of the museum’s most popular events of the year and draws large crowds. While parking is available ($15/car), visitors are encouraged to use public transportation to avoid lines and wait times to enter.
Free tickets are required for the outdoor fly-in (visit the link below); the indoor activities are not ticketed.
