NSO Music for Young Audiences: String Thing @ The Kennedy Center

Part of the National Symphony Orchestra’s Music for Young Audiences program, music, and mayhem take the stage for the return of String Thing, presented by Paul DeNola and Heather LeDoux Green, National Symphony Orchestra Musicians, from April 6-7, 2024. With DeNola on bass and LeDoux on violin, this comedic act is full of classical music, tricks, gags, and even “silence.”

Guests are also invited to enjoy the PLAYspace before each performance. The NSO Volunteer Council’s Musical PLAYspace offers little ones the chance to get up close and try out the instruments they’ll see on stage! Plus, the April 6, 2024, performance at 1:30 will also be followed by Creative Conversation, where audience members can hear directly from the show’s artists.
