On a special Friday each month, the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum offers free admission! Join them from 5-7 pm on April 3, 2026

Normally fee-based, guests of all ages are invited to enjoy four floors of interactive exhibits, fun activities, and more… all for free!

Located in the heart of historic Winchester, VA, the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum is a kid- (and kid-at-heart)- focused destination featuring four stories of hands-on fun. Each story features plenty of hands-on areas that encourage problem-solving, creative thinking, and collaboration. Best of all, the kids don’t know they’re learning — they just think they’re having a great time!
