An annual event for more than four decades, the Falls Church Memorial Day Parade & Festival returns on May 25, 2026!
This year’s celebration carries extra meaning as the 44th annual event coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. The day kicks off with a 3K fun run, followed by a Memorial Day Ceremony hosted by the Greater Falls Church Veterans Council, honoring the community’s fallen military service members. The afternoon brings food trucks, local vendors, kids’ rides and inflatables, and the showstopping parade down Park Avenue.
Don’t miss the VA250 Mobile Museum — “Out of Many, One” — an interactive museum on wheels showcasing key stories from Virginia’s rich history, onsite throughout the day.
This year’s Grand Marshals are retiring FCCPS educators Nan Hof, Shey Wakeley, and Mary Jo West, honored for their lasting impact on students and the broader Falls Church community.
