Clemyjontri Park is rolling out the welcome mat for a special event showcasing everything that makes this popular playground so special!
At its Open House on August 30, 2026, enjoy the day at this 2+ acre, all-inclusive playground, plus a ticket upon entry for a ride on Clemy’s fully accessible carousel and trackless train! There will also be popcorn, cotton candy, and an arts-and-crafts activity, too.
Community resource tables and hands-on nature experiences at the Wonder Wagon Mobile Nature Center round out the fun. No registration required — just show up and enjoy!
A Northern Virginia favorite, Clemyjontri is a big adaptive playground with six elevated climb-on structures, a wide variety of ground-level features for kids of all abilities, swings, open spaces to run, and even a maze to explore. The rubber ground surface is stroller- and wagon-friendly, with plenty of shaded seating areas, picnic tables, and on-site bathrooms.
Please note, parking is limited, but a free shuttle will be available from Cooper Middle School (977 Balls Hill Rd, McLean).
