Kids Are Free This Summer at the Newseum!

>> The Ultimate Guide to All-Things-Summer!

The Newseum is an attraction you just can’t miss when visiting our nation’s Capital!

Seven levels of interactive exhibits, including 15 theaters and galleries, are devoted to bringing visitors the history of news and journalism. Little ones will love checking out exhibits, such as the “First Dogs: American Presidents and Their Pets,” or visiting the NBC News Interactive Newsroom for a chance to play the role of a newscaster! Plus, visitors can save their tickets and visit on the following day for free, making exploring all 250,000 square feet of artifacts and news coverage even more enjoyable!

Another newsworthy deal? With the Newseum’s Summer Fun Deal, July 1-September 2, 2019, kids 18 and younger get into the Newseum free with a paying adult (up to four children can visit for free with each paid adult/senior admission or Newseum membership).

Plus, this summer, enjoy the Newseum’s two new exhibits, where you and your family can make even more memories! Rise Up: Stonewall and the LGBTQ Rights Movement explores what happened at New York’s Stonewall Inn and how it gave rise to a 50-year fight for civil rights for LGBTQ Americans. Also, be sure to check out Seriously Funny: From the Desk of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” opening June 21, 2019.

The Newseum is located at 555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20001.
