Oatlands, a National Trust for Historic Preservation site, invites the community to a family-friendly day of activities, performances, and community fun on June 6, 2026!
Explore Oatlands will bring together a mix of artists, farmers, gardeners, conservationists, historians, educators, and community organizations for a day that’s equal parts fun and meaningful. Even better? This free community event is hosted at Oatland’s stunning 19th-century estate in Leesburg, serving as a living place of learning, stewardship, and community connection.

- The opportunity to learn about invasive and native plants from Master Gardeners
- Face painting

- Cabaret performance, presented by StageCoach Theatre Co

Community partners on-site include the Black History Committee of the Friends of Thomas Balch Library, Loudoun Hunt Pony Club, Boy Scouts offering orienteering skills, bluebird monitoring groups, Wegmeyer Farms, and more.
