A story-worthy celebration awaits kids and families! The Fairfax Library Foundation’s annual Summer Reading Festival is kicking off summer on June 13, 2026.
Designed to get young readers excited about summer reading, this free community festival is full of hands-on fun. Enjoy games and crafts, bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, a photobooth, live entertainment, food trucks, and, of course, books!
Tickets aren’t required, but pre-registering via Eventbrite makes families eligible for a free festival tote bag while supplies last. All the fun happens at the Fairfax County Government Center; learn more and register online.
