Northern Virginia has many talented young artists with dreams of creating their own comics, animes, animations, music, or even video games. DigiKidz Academy invites them to “power up” their creativity at our new digital art studio in Chantilly, VA!
DigiKidz Academy offers students “Positive Screentime” with productive and interactive learning experiences. Unlike over-stimulating video games, Positive Screentime allows kids to slow down their mental pace, develop fine motor skills, and learn digital arts in a world of nearly limitless personal and professional applications.

Digital Arts: Introduction
Skill Level: Beginner
This fun, 4-week (total 8 hours), project-based course touches on digital arts basics and ends with a personal project and evaluation. It covers digital drawing, working with Photoshop layers, tracing, and simple coloring.
Digital Arts: Foundations I
Skill Level: Beginner
This 8-week (total 16 hours) course is the beginning class of DigiKidz Academy Core Curriculum, which unlocks more advanced courses upon successful completion and skills evaluation.
Digital Arts: Tracing Basics
Skill Level: Beginner
This course is eight 1-hour, weekly sessions (total 8 hours). In a guided and relaxed environment, students will develop basic drawing control skills on a digital platform. This environment also allows younger students and parents interested in digital art to simply have fun drawing together.
