Travel back in time to visit a 16th-century English village at the Maryland Renaissance Festival!

Hosted on weekends, August 27-October 23, 2022, this annual festival features live entertainment, delicious food, and plenty of unique shopping opportunities.

Unique among festivals, the Maryland Renaissance Festival utilizes a storyline, and each year progresses through the timeline of King Henry VIII — through all his reign and all six of his wives. This year’s storyline is “1536: The King’s New Love, ” which revolves around Jane Seymour, who will be his third wife!

Talented performers will entertain you at one of the festival’s many stages. Plus, expect to see musicians, jugglers, artists, and even royalty from the King’s court as you make your way through the village. Be sure not to miss the iconic jousting matches!

See the full entertainment schedule online and special events, too.
