The Maryland Renaissance Fest

Step out of the 21st century and travel back in time to meet and greet King Henry VIII and his royal court at the Maryland Renaissance Festival!

Held on select days August 24-October 20, 2019, this popular annual opportunity recreates a 16th-century English village and is a popular outdoor event for the whole family, with music, pageantry, and magic at every corner! Stroll down the wooded path, take a break at a local pub, treat your taste buds to a feast of foods, and shop at more than 140 unique handicraft stores.

More than 200 performers from all over the country entertain at the festival’s many stages and the streets are filled with musicians, jugglers, artists, and people from the King’s royal court. For smaller lads and lassies, there are pony rides, archery, and juggling lessons. Plus, don’t miss the maze, pirate ship, play area, knighting ceremony, and a sing-along theatre production.
