It’s tucked inside Virginia Sports Academy at Dulles Town Center, so no matter the time of year, your day can feel a little more like a summer afternoon.
This isn’t your backyard sandbox. The sand comes from the beaches of The Bahamas and is made mostly of natural calcium carbonate, so it’s exceptionally soft, clean, and gentle on little hands and feet. Sand toys are provided, and there’s plenty of room for sensory play, imaginative play, or just plain old digging for the fun of it.

Parents will appreciate the care that goes into keeping things fresh. Sand and toys are disinfected with a child-safe solution after every session, the sand is aerated daily to keep it fluffy, food and drinks stay out of the sand area, and air filtration runs throughout the facility to keep dust down.
No membership required! Play is offered in 90-minute sessions with a limited number of kids in each, so everyone has room to spread out. Walk-ins are welcome when space is available, but booking ahead is the best way to guarantee a spot. You’ll just need to create a free Virginia Sports Academy account and add your child to it before your first visit.
