On June 6, 2026, train lovers are invited to the Railway Festival! Hosted in the heart of Old Town Manassas, celebrate local railway and train history.
From model train displays to real train rides, there’s plenty to explore at this special annual event. Check out train memorabilia, shop specialty vendors, take in live entertainment, and more.
The festival offers the chance to climb aboard the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) Excursion Train for a scenic journey, too! Take a ride from Manassas to the Town of Clifton and back — with special guests including the 501st Regiment of Troopers and Princess Mirabel and Belle joining select departures!
While admission to the Train Festival is free, train tickets are fee-based and sell out quickly.
