Snow Riders
Harpers Ferry, WV • Approx 50 miles from Dulles Airport
Did you know just an hour away is home to one of the longest tubing slopes on the East Coast? Packed with fun, find 12 tubing lanes, nearly three football fields long, at Snow Riders. For the little adventurers, a height requirement of 36” is in place, with tandem tubing available for those between 36-42″.

Liberty Mountain Resort
Carroll Valley, PA • Approx 75 miles from Dulles Airport
Enjoy the thrill of zipping down a snow-covered hill! Liberty Mountain Resort boasts more than a dozen tubing lanes, available for thrill-seekers 42″ and taller*. For the younger crowd (41″ and under*), there’s a separate kiddie tubing area!

Whitetail Resort
Mercersburg, PA • Approx 85 miles from Dulles Airport
At Whitetail Resort, riders 42″ and taller* are invited to enjoy snow tubing fun! Families with daredevils 41″ and under* are welcome at the resort’s kiddie tubing park.

Bryce Resort
Basye, VA • Approx 100 miles from Dulles Airport
Talk about quality family time! Moms and Dads, race your kids down Bryce Resort’s 800-foot tubing lanes! Adults and children, at least 4 years old* and 36″ tall*, are invited to ride solo or link up!

Avalanche Xpress
York, PA • Approx 110 miles from Dulles Airport
Avalanche Xpress’s 80-foot-high hill boasts snow-covered tubing lanes groomed daily for maximum speed and fun! Plus, enjoy warming up by the fire pits when you need a break. There is no age requirement for tubers; however, anyone tubing must be able to get in and out of their tube by themselves.

Roundtop Mountain Resort
Lewisberry, PA • Approx 110 miles from Dulles Airport
Grab a tube and let the fun begin! Roundtop Mountain Resort snow tubing features more than a dozen wide tubing lanes (riders must be at least 42″ tall*)! Their 800-feet long runs are fast and fun — boasting a vertical drop of 80 feet. For younger riders (41″ and under*), a kiddie tubing area is available with smaller, child-sized tubes.

Massanutten Resort
McGaheysville, VA • Approx 130 miles from Dulles Airport
Massanutten Resort is a popular destination for Northern Virginia families all year long. Their Family Adventure Park allows thrill-seekers (at least 36″ and taller+) a day of snow tubing fun on their 16 lanes that are 900′ in length and offer a drop of 120 vertical feet!

Wintergreen Resort
Wintergreen, VA • Approx 135 miles from Dulles Airport
The Plunge, Wintergreen Resort’s tubing park, is one of the largest parks of its kind in Virginia! Their slopes are over ten stories tall and three football fields long, and some guests can reach speeds of 30 m per hour! Snow tubing is recommended for kids ages 6 and up* (guests must be 42″ or taller* to ride).

Wisp Resort
McHenry, MD • Approx 155 miles from Dulles Airport
Boasting up to a dozen tube shoots, there is fun to be had for everyone at Wisp Resort! Families are invited to zip along their 750-foot-long hills (ages 4+ and at least 42″ tall*). Plus, if you like it thrilling and fast, take a trip on their Mountain Coaster! The special ride is a gravitational hybrid of an Alpine Slide and a Roller Coaster boasting a 1,300-foot uphill track while twisting, turning, dipping, and rolling for 3,500 feet downhill over 350 vertical feet on the eastern side of Wisp Mountain.
