Drew Park
Arlington, VA
Visit the free sprayground at Drew Park to cool down in the summer heat! With a variety of unique sprayers, such as an umbrella and tunnel sprayer, it’s time to grab some water shoes and get ready for a fun day of outdoor play! This sprayground is conveniently located next to basketball courts, softball fields, and a playground, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Please note that restrooms are only available when the Drew Community Center is open.

Hayes Park
Arlington, VA
Head to Arlington for free splish-splash fun at the Hayes Park space-themed sprayground! This shady, three-acre park also features tennis and basketball courts, as well as playgrounds for children of various ages.

Long Bridge Park Aquatics & Fitness Center
Arlington, VA ∙ Part of a fee-based waterpark
With more than 92,000 square feet dedicated to complete wellness, the Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center is a first-class aquatics and fitness facility for all ages and fitness levels. The leisure pool features a splash pad, a water slide, a lazy river, and fun water play features!

Lyon Village Park
Arlington, VA
Dumping buckets and colorful splash pads make up this fantastic, free sprayground in Arlington! Pack a picnic lunch, grab some water gear, and spend the day in this outdoor destination! Please note that there are no restrooms available at this sprayground.

Mosaic Park
Arlington, VA
This new Arlington park features interactive water elements illuminated by sustainable LED lighting and includes a children’s play area, complete with a colorful climbing wall.

Ocean Dunes Waterpark

Atlantis Waterpark

Swim, splash, and soak up summer at Atlantis Waterpark! With tons of fun features, great food, and activities, this “lost” island subcontinent-themed park is perfect for water lovers of all ages! Located inside Bull Run Park, visitors will discover Greek architecture, mermaids, and more amongst a 1,000-gallon dumping bucket, a 230-foot open slide, and a waterfall!

Dogwood Pool Picnic Pavilion
Reston, VA
Enjoy cooling off in this mosaic-clad fountain, a commissioned public artwork. Typically open from 9 am to 9 pm, this splash pad is equipped with a button or switch to activate the water jets. Please note that the fountain will not be available if this Pavilion is rented for a private function.

Great Waves Waterpark

Located near the Kitty-Pozer and Mary McCandlish Memorial Gardens, this new park has become a place for the community to gather for concerts and entertainment events.

Our Special Harbor
Franconia, VA
Travel to Franconia Park and enjoy the Chesapeake Bay-themed sprayground, featuring unique water structures, including a computerized water maze and a dumping crab basket. Get soaked by the spraying osprey nest or sea serpent, and then visit the beach area for some water table fun! While general admission is free, paid daily admission is required for commercial and nonprofit groups. Please visit the website for details on the rules regarding water shoes.

Pirate’s Cove Waterpark

Treasures, sun, and sand await ye’ mateys at Pirate’s Cove Waterpark! As the largest pirate-themed waterpark in Lorton, VA, visitors will discover kid-friendly water slides and a 300-gallon dumping bucket among water-spraying palm trees! Potomac Yards Park

Located between the two playgrounds, the Potomac Yard Park Interactive Fountain features thirty-six water jets, including twelve laminar jets that shoot a stream of water between two troughs and lighting at the jets for nighttime effects!

Reston Town Center
Reston, VA
Jump through the free splash park at Reston Town Center to cool off on hot summer days! Please note that parking at Reston Town Center is fee-based during select hours.

Water Mine Family Swimmin’ Hole

At the center of this old-west-themed park, surrounded by tubing on Rattlesnake River, is Pete’s Craggy Mountain, boasting multi-story water slides. In the open swim area, there are plenty of water creatures to climb on, and Tenderfoot Pond is perfect for the smallest explorers because of its pint-sized slides and gentle fountains.

Cascades Overlook Town Center

This modest splash pad is on the plaza in the heart of Cascades Overlook. Perfect for cooling off, kids and parents alike will also enjoy plaza activities, such as giant Jenga, cornhole, and more!

Franklin Park Pool
Purcellville, VA ∙ Part of a fee-based waterpark
Find plenty of fun in the sun as you soak up summer at the Franklin Park Pool! This outdoor water destination is ideal for families with little ones of all ages as it not only features a large lap pool, but also child-friendly areas, too. Get soaked under the spraying mushroom, slip on down the waterslide, and try your luck hopping across green floating lily pads or logs! Don’t miss the new Franklin Park Splash Pad, which can be found within the Franklin Park Pool grounds. This additional water feature features a fun farmhouse theme, complete with spraying sunflowers, frogs, fish, and more!

Splash Pad @ Hal & Berni Hanson Regional Park

The 10,000-square-foot splash pad at Hanson Park features numerous attractions, including activator spray grounds, a water-squirting spider, water cannons, and a bucket drop.

Lansdowne Towne Center
Leesburg, VA
The fountains at Lansdowne Towne Center are free and open to the public, making them a great place to spend the day! Pack a lunch or visit one of the nearby restaurants and soak up the sun while splashing in the water! Check the center’s Facebook page for its hours.

Loudoun Station
Ashburn, VA
Kids and kids at heart will enjoy cooling off at this interactive splash fountain! While there, enjoy Loudoun Station’s playground and large lawn, perfect for picnics. Plus, on select nights, enjoy live entertainment on their outdoor canopied stage with amphitheater seating. Before attending, it’s wise to contact them to double-check that the splash pad is turned on (example).
